Presentation part of European Security Round Table in Brussels
SRA International, Inc. (NYSE: SRX), a leading provider of technology and strategic consulting services and solutions to government organizations and commercial clients, today announced it conducted a cyber security exercise for the European Security Round Table (ESRT) during the Shared Threats – Shared Solutions: Toward a European Cyber Policy conference in Brussels, Belgium.
The ESRT is the European Union’s (EU) premier member-based security organization, which provides the EU, the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) and other organizations with a neutral platform to discuss the future of European security and defense policy.
Facilitated by cyber security expert Jon Noetzel, SRA presented a multi-media walk through of an SRA-designed cyber exercise to demonstrate how three separate and dissimilar attacks against different critical infrastructure sectors could negatively impact an array of EU member states simultaneously.
“This was a tremendous opportunity to share SRA’s extensive cyber exercise experience with EU leadership and cyber experts,” said SRA Vice President Todd Morris. ”This presentation highlights the importance of conducting exercises, and provides recommendations for developing and integrating a cyber exercise program with existing European security programs.”
As part of the presentation, SRA cyber security experts posed questions to audience members relevant to individual member states, the EU and NATO cyber-preparedness, prevention, detection, response and recovery challenges. SRA also engaged government officials by highlighting cross-border critical infrastructure interdependencies that require coordinated public-private partnerships.
For more than a decade, SRA has been a trusted leader in cyber security, providing everything necessary to build a strong defense against cyber threats. Sustainable SRA solutions span information operations, cyber security operations, security architecture solutions and secure systems integration that work to keep organizations open to new technologies and applications while keeping threats out.
